Des Willie(LONDON) — A new teaser for season four of The Crown has arrived, and it promises lots more royal drama.

This season picks up in 1979 and takes us through 1990. It introduces Emma Corrin as Lady Diana Spencer, who of course will soon become Princess Diana. The teaser shows glimpses of her romance with Prince Charles, including their wedding day. But there’s a veil of foreboding over everything, as we all know they did not live happily ever after.

The teaser also shows Gillian Anderson as U.K. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, as well as returning stars Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, and Helena Bonham-Carter as Princess Margaret.

Season four of The Crown debuts on Netflix November 15.

Luke Hemsworth wants to be the next Wolverine

No Comments Entertainment News

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) — It’s tough to picture anybody following Hugh Jackman as the X-Men character Wolverine, but Westworld‘s Luke Hemsworth tells Screen Rant he’s up for the job if and when Marvel decides to reboot the superhero.

“I would love to. I grew up with them. I learned to draw through comic books, copying comic books since I was about 10 years old,” says Luke, the older brother of Thor star Chris Hemsworth.

“I really loved Todd McFarlane’s Spawn.  And then Batman — I would have fought Rob Pattinson for those gauntlets,” he continues.  “And Wolverine!  I’m like, ‘Come on, just pass them on, mate. Let’s give it to another Aussie.'”

“I’ll have to grow some chest hair, but I’m ready for Wolverine,” jokes Luke.

Jackman, who made his debut as Wolverine in 2000’s X-Men, has appeared in several other ensemble films and standalone movies over the years, most recently, in 2017’s Logan.  However, after nearly two decades, Jackman has indicated that he’s through playing the character.

Luke, by the way, already has a little experience playing a superhero, appearing as his brother’s character in a memorable scene from Thor: Ragnarok.  Luke had a cameo as Thor in a play within the film titled “The Tragedy of Loki,” which featured Matt Damon as Loki.

Jameela Jamil shows off her pre-workout routine, slurping whipped cream

No Comments Entertainment News

Todd Williamson/NBC(LOS ANGELES) — Jameela Jamil just gave a whole new meaning to the phrase “pre-workout routine.”

Many would picture some sort of beverage, shake, or pill at the mention of the term, but for The Good Place actress, it simply means guzzling down some whipped cream straight from the can.

On Monday, Jamil, 34, shared a short Instagram clip of herself enjoying the light treat with the text, “My pre-workout game is strong,” superimposed over it. Meanwhile, in the caption, she explained, “The sheer BEAUTY of not working out for weight loss anymore is that I can treat myself to something fun to give me a burst of energy before I do any exercise.”

“I’m looking at it as mental health care now, rather than a punishment for not adhering to patriarchal stereotypes!” she continued, adding that she chose the soy version of the topping.

Stunts like this are common for Jamil, who often speaks out on mental health and body positivity. And, many praised her for sharing an important message through some lighthearted comedy.

“YES! As an eating disorder therapist who is also recovered-I love the idea of reclaiming joyful movement vs punishing ED related exercise,” one user commented.

Another called “my idol” and added, “you’ve helped me accept my body so much!”

Kevin Hart teases 'Trains, Planes and Automobiles' remake with Will Smith

No Comments Entertainment News

ABC(LOS ANGELES) — It’s a match made in comedy. Kevin Hart is gearing up to work alongside Will Smith for a remake of the 1987 comedy Trains, Planes and Automobiles.

The original film starred Steve Martin and John Candy as two travelers who embark on a hilarious journey to make it home in time for Thanksgiving.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Hart dished that the movie is a longtime coming.

“Me and Will have been talking about doing a movie for the longest time and we just [couldn’t] put our finger on what that movie was,” he explained. “So, for us to get to a point where we agree that said material was our project — because our personalities not only fit, but we could really pop in this situation — it was just a no-brainer.”

“Remaking this movie is something we are excited about,” he continued. “We can’t wait to do it. The studio’s happy and it’s about rolling my sleeves up and getting the script to where it’s supposed to be.”
