• No Comments • Entertainment News

Des Willie(LONDON) — A new teaser for season four of The Crown has arrived, and it promises lots more royal drama.

This season picks up in 1979 and takes us through 1990. It introduces Emma Corrin as Lady Diana Spencer, who of course will soon become Princess Diana. The teaser shows glimpses of her romance with Prince Charles, including their wedding day. But there’s a veil of foreboding over everything, as we all know they did not live happily ever after.

The teaser also shows Gillian Anderson as U.K. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, as well as returning stars Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, and Helena Bonham-Carter as Princess Margaret.

Season four of The Crown debuts on Netflix November 15.

Mickey Guyton shares her perspective in "Heaven Down Here" video

• No Comments • Country Music News

Capitol Records Nashville Mickey Guyton finds hope in the chaos in the video for her thoughtful song, “Heaven Down Here.”

In the all-encompassing clip, Mickey captures sobering shots of empty classrooms and stadiums, damaged homes from natural disasters, and a doctor dressed in PPE.

There’s an aerial shot of quiet city streets that are later filled with protestors, the camera focusing in on a sign that reads “love not hate,” as Mickey uses her powerful voice to tell a higher power, “we could use a little more heaven down here.”

The video ends with a series of uplifting images, ranging from a young girl running freely through an open field as she flies a kite to majestic horses galloping through the ocean.

“Heaven Down Here” is Mickey’s current single off her latest EP, Bridges. She’s set to perform the track during the CMT Awards on October 21, airing at 8 p.m. ET.

(NEW YORK) — Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for COVID-19, the governing body of soccer in Portugal announced Tuesday.

The 35-year-old Portuguese soccer star is “doing well,” doesn’t have any symptoms and is currently self-isolating, according to a statement from the Portuguese Football Federation. Due to the positive test result, he will not take part in his country’s UEFA Nations League match against Sweden on Wednesday.

Following Ronaldo’s diagnosis, the remaining players of Portugal’s national soccer team were tested for COVID-19 again Tuesday morning and all results came back negative.

Portugal coach Fernando Santos will train them Tuesday afternoon at the Cidade do Futebol complex near Lisbon, according to the statement.

Luke Hemsworth wants to be the next Wolverine

• No Comments • Entertainment News

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) — It’s tough to picture anybody following Hugh Jackman as the X-Men character Wolverine, but Westworld‘s Luke Hemsworth tells Screen Rant he’s up for the job if and when Marvel decides to reboot the superhero.

“I would love to. I grew up with them. I learned to draw through comic books, copying comic books since I was about 10 years old,” says Luke, the older brother of Thor star Chris Hemsworth.

“I really loved Todd McFarlane’s Spawn.  And then Batman — I would have fought Rob Pattinson for those gauntlets,” he continues.  “And Wolverine!  I’m like, ‘Come on, just pass them on, mate. Let’s give it to another Aussie.'”

“I’ll have to grow some chest hair, but I’m ready for Wolverine,” jokes Luke.

Jackman, who made his debut as Wolverine in 2000’s X-Men, has appeared in several other ensemble films and standalone movies over the years, most recently, in 2017’s Logan.  However, after nearly two decades, Jackman has indicated that he’s through playing the character.

Luke, by the way, already has a little experience playing a superhero, appearing as his brother’s character in a memorable scene from Thor: Ragnarok.  Luke had a cameo as Thor in a play within the film titled “The Tragedy of Loki,” which featured Matt Damon as Loki.
