David Duchovny reveals the best lesson he could offer his young 'Craft: Legacy' co-stars

No Comments Entertainment News

ABC News/Steve Iervolino(NEW YORK) — X-Files veteran David Duchovny plays a dad in the film reboot Craft: Legacy, but he explains that there wasn’t a lot of fatherly advice he could give his younger co-stars when it comes to the craft of acting.

The movie is a re-invention of The Craft, a 1996 hit about a group of high school friends who discover the downside to dabbling in the dark arts.

When asked about his experience versus that of his co-stars, Duchovny laughed to ABC Audio, “Yeah, it makes me feel kind of old.”

He added, “It is interesting in this movie, I was really aware that the stars…they were like from 22, 23, or whatever. So I can’t teach anything, but I can model what it’s like to be a professional actor. That’s what I always think. It’s like: I can be on time, I can be prepared, I can I can come with my bags packed, ready to travel, you know, ready to play. Ready to act. You know, just ready.”

The Craft: Legacy is now available for streaming on video-on-demand services.

No Comments Entertainment News

Gareth Davies/Getty Images(THE BAHAMAS) — Sean Connery’s widow says the actor, who died October 31 at age 90 in the Bahamas home they shared, will make one final trip to his native Scotland.

Ninety-one year old Micheline Roquebrune, who was married to the Oscar-winning actor and James Bond film legend for 45 years, tells the Scottish Mail that the actor will be cremated in the Bahamas, and that “We are going to bring Sean back to Scotland — that was his final wish.”

“He wanted his ashes to be scattered in the Bahamas and also in his homeland,” she noted, citing COVID-19 travel restrictions with some delay in doing so. “Whenever it is possible and safe to travel again, then it is the family’s intention to return to Scotland with him.”

Morgan Wallen looks back on "7 Summers" in new video

No Comments Country Music News

John ShearerMorgan Wallen gives fans a peek at what happened “7 Summers” ago, in the video for his current single.

In the eight-minute short film, Morgan plays a pitcher on his hometown high school baseball team, caught between his father’s dream of him becoming a baseball star and his own dream of staying in the small town with the woman he loves, who promises she’ll one day return to him if he says.

Throughout the video, fans hear the catchy song play as the backdrop to Morgan’s character’s conflict with his father, along with scenes of the young couple falling in love during the Tennessee summer.

The video ends with a flash-forward to the future that reveals Morgan did in fact stay in his hometown, becoming coach of the baseball team he once pitched for.  His lost love then shows up unexpectedly at the game, seemingly fulfilling her promise — until her husband and young daughter appear beside her.

“Well, guess you kept your promise,” Morgan mutters as he walks off the field.

“7 Summers,” which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, will be featured on Morgan’s upcoming album. The singer hinted to fans on Twitter that there is an Easter egg about the album release date embedded in the video, with many guessing that it’s 1/8/21: the numbers on the baseball jerseys.
