"I have never forgiven myself": Drew Barrymore apologizes to Andy Cohen for tipsy 'Watch What Happens Live' segment

Barrymore was clearly slurring during the sit-down with Cohen and her former Santa Clarita Diet co-star Timothy Olyphant, and clearly Drew hasn’t gotten over it. “I drank too much and I have never forgiven myself, nor will I ever forgive myself,” the 45-year-old actress tells Cohen.

“I’m an imperfect person, and I tout that, and I’ve had that liberty since I was a kid because it was all out there. And it was either ‘boo hoo’ about it or say, ‘God, it’s sort of redeeming to not have to pretend to be perfect,'” she tells the Bravo exec-turned-chat show host.

Barrymore added, “But I really want to apologize to you because I really — I just, I will never let that happen again. I’m so sorry.”

For his part, Cohen was gracious, and mentioned she’s not the first star to have taken full advantage of WWHL‘s infamously open bar.

“I’m used to people being overserved on my show, and so I don’t even really have a totally clear memory of it, but you don’t need to apologize to me for being overserved on my show, that happens,” Cohen said. “You’re in a great club of people.”

The former child star’s syndicated The Drew Barrymore Show premieres September 14.

Writer-actor Ayo Edebiri replaces Jenny Slate as Missy on 'Big Mouth'

Netflix(LOS ANGELES) — Two months after Jenny Slate stepped down from voicing the animated character Missy on Netflix’s Big Mouth, stating “Black characters on an animated show should be played by Black people,” her replacement has been announced.

The streaming giant says actress, comedian, and Big Mouth writer Ayo Edebiri will be taking over the role, beginning with the final two episodes of the fourth season.

Edebiri tells Variety, “I was definitely a very uncomfortable child, so I think the show speaks to that and a lot of those feelings, which still resonate with me as an adult…”

She added, “I’m back home in my childhood bedroom right now and on my bookshelf in between A Series of Unfortunate Events is Bill Clinton’s autobiography and Nelson Mandela’s autobiography and a translation of The Iliad in Latin. I was a true dork. So I don’t think I have to go too far to connect with Missy.”

“Resident Evil 3” – Copyright © 2020 Capcom(LOS ANGELES) — Resident Evil, one of the biggest selling video games of all time, is becoming a Netflix series.

The horror game franchise that has sold 104 million units since its debut in 1996, and spawned six films starring Milla Jovovich, will become an eight-episode series for the streaming service.

Netflix explains that Resident Evil, which is being written and produced by Supernatural‘s Andrew Dabb, will be told across two timelines.  The first centers on fourteen-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker, who are moved with their family to Raccoon City and soon learn the corporate community is hiding dark secrets.

The second timeline tracks Jade, now thirty years old, dealing with the monster apocalypse that the Umbrella Corporation unleashed on the world with its T-Virus.

In a statement, Dabb commented, “For every type of Resident Evil fan, including those joining us for the first time, the series will be complete with a lot of old friends, and some things (bloodthirsty, insane things) people have never seen before.”

Blake Lively hilariously thirsts over husband Ryan Reynolds in self-indulgent birthday shoutout

Dia Dipasupil/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — It’s been nearly a decade since Ryan Reynolds was crowned People‘s sexiest man alive, however, that hasn’t stopped his wife Blake Lively from proudly flaunting the Deadpool star’s dashing good looks and literally superheroic physique.

Lively, who turned 33 on Tuesday, shared an unexpected gift her husband flashed when rolling out the birthday cake and candles.

On her Instagram stories on Thursday, the Gossip Girl alum posted an innocent-looking photo of Reynolds, 43, walking her strawberry shortcake-like dessert over so she could blow out the candles and make a wish.  However, as the slideshow progresses, her eyes were on something else entirely.

The next photo is a close up shot of Reynold’s chiseled arm and, the one after that, is zoomed in even closer.  The hilariously relatable slideshow zooms in five times before ending with Lively focusing solely on her husband’s bicep.

Adding the icing to her own cake, she even added an ultra cheeky animated gif below the object of her affection, which declares, “Happy Birthday to Me.”

The two wed in 2012 and share three daughters, five-year-old James, three-year-old Inez and a nearly one year old child who fans believe is named Betty due to clues left on a Taylor Swift song of the same name.
