Teigen, who confirmed her third pregnancy alongside husband John Legend in his “Wild” music video, says that she’s been facing a fair amount of challenges this time around.

Speaking to her Instagram followers via stories on Tuesday, the Bring the Funny host opened up about why she’ll be posting from her bedroom for the next few days.

“I didn’t really know that bed rest was in bed. I honestly thought bed rest was you have to really, really relax, stay home,” she confessed. “I thought it could be couch rest. But now I’m in trouble. Now I need bed rest.”

Without mincing words, Teigen confirmed that she needs “super serious bed rest times,” because “it’s a bit of a difficult pregnancy.”

“I feel good though. I will say I’m probably being punished for talking so much about how great the first two went,” the 34-year-old mom of two cracked. “I was like, ‘Oh yeah, pregnancy’s awesome!’ But now I get it. I get anyone that thinks it’s not so awesome…but very happy to be carrying this baby.”

She posted a groggy bed rest update on Wednesday to her stories, further revealing that, even though she only spent five minutes out of bed for the past 24 hours, she “still bled everywhere.”

“Here til next Tuesday. Lord it’s kind of crappier than it sounds,” Teigen also added on Twitter, doubling down on her previous sentiment that she’s being punished for “saying the first two pregnancies were easy peasy.”

Jason Mendez/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Gigi Hadid’s father, Mohamed Hadid, has some sweet words for his first grandchild — and he (briefly) shared them with the world.

In a since-deleted post from Wednesday, Mohamed took to Instagram to share a handwritten poem dedicated to his “little grandchild” titled “Grandpa’s heart.”

“Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart is as happy as can be. I wish for you the sun and moon, I wish for you a happy time. Know that Grandpa’s always near, I’ll do anything, anything for you my dear,” the poem read, according to People. “When I heard you were on the way, I smiled and wiped a tear away. I cried the tear because I knew, my heart would always belong to you.”

Mohamed captioned the post in both English and Arabic, writing, “In the name of God the The merciful I want to say l love you and so proud of you @gigihadid.”

Gigi, 25, is expecting her first child with former One Direction member Zayn Malik, 27.

'Tenet' star John David Washington shares "great lessons" learned while working with "heroes" Chris Nolan and Spike Lee

No Comments Entertainment News

Melinda Sue Gordon(NEW YORK) — John David Washington says he felt like a student in a master class when working with director Christopher Nolan on his latest project Tenet. In fact, Washington says he learned some invaluable lessons from both Nolan and his Oscar-winning BlacKkKlansman director Spike Lee during his time working with them.

“They say never meet your heroes, but they’re exceptions to that rule,” Washington says. “I’m so glad I got to meet them and work alongside them. They made me feel like a colleague… like I was contributing to their vision. They made me feel like we were teammates.”

“And these men, who should have a tremendous ego — they deserved to,” he continues. “They don’t have to make anybody feel any kind of way. And they still do. And they still take themselves out of it and put the project first. And that’s a great lesson to learn from legends like that.”

Washington notes that it was Nolan and Lee’s humility and ability to put their “ego.. aside” that left him with a lasting impression. He also adds that the two taught him that in this business “there are no mistakes” as long as you “love what you do and you’re relentless in pursuing it.”

“If you are in service to the film, in service to the story, your ego’s left aside,” Washington explains. “And no matter how big you become, how much success you get over the years — which these two pillars have — they still have the same approach, the same love, and youthful exuberance towards the work that they had on their first films.”

“And that was a great lesson to me,” he adds.

Tenet, also starring  Robert Pattinson, is available in select theaters across the U.S.

Chris Rock defends Jimmy Fallon amid blackface scandal: "He didn’t mean anything"

No Comments Entertainment News

Douglas Gorenstein/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images via Getty Image(NEW YORK) — Jimmy Fallon landed himself in hot water after a 20-year-old clip of him impersonating Chris Rock resurfaced online.  While critics have slammed the video for being an offensive example of blackface, the person Fallon was pretending to be has come to the night show host’s defense in a new interview.

Speaking with the New York Times, Rock opened up about the controversy and explained that he sees absolutely nothing wrong with the video.

“I’m friends with Jimmy. Jimmy’s a great guy. And he didn’t mean anything,” the Grown Ups star attested, saying that Fallon’s parody wasn’t intended to be malicious.

“A lot of people want to say intention doesn’t matter, but it does,” continued Rock. “I don’t think Jimmy Fallon intended to hurt me. And he didn’t.”

The comedian went onto explain why the controversy is an example of a deeper issue, which is cancel culture.

“There’s literally one answer that ends my whole career,” Rock said after being asked if he thinks that removing old TV shows or movies containing instances of blackface goes too far.

“Blackface ain’t cool, okay? That’s my quote. Blackface is bad,” he answered. “It’s so sad, we live in a world now where you have to say, I am so against cancer. ‘I just assumed you liked cancer.’ No, no, no, I am so against it. You have to state so many obvious things you’re against.”

Fallon impersonated Rock in 2000 for a skit on Saturday Night Live.  Following the clip going viral and drawing intense backlash, the late night host apologized in May, calling it “a terrible decision” and that “there is no excuse for this.”

“I am very sorry for making this unquestionably offensive decision and thank all of you for holding me accountable,” he added.
