Elizabeth Sisson/NBC(LOS ANGELES) — Production on Chicago Med has been put on pause due to a staff member testing positive for COVID-19.
Entertainment Tonightreports that a team member on the set of the NBC show tested positive for the virus on Tuesday. Since this person would be coming in close contact with other people on set, they were immediately sent home and the network promptly shut down production for two weeks.
The individual got the results through a rapid test, which is part of the network’s safety guidelines during the pandemic, along with contact tracing.
COVID-19 shut down Chicago Med production for the remaining episodes of season five earlier this year. In spite of the delay, NBC says the drama’s sixth season will still debut on November 11.

ABC/Maarten de Boer(LOS ANGELES) — As Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette draws near, so do all the promos. One recent promotion that has garnered a lot of attention is one where Chris Harrison proclaims that Crawley’s “blown up” the show.
Aside from rumors, there hasn’t been much elaboration on that quote — until now.
Chatting withEntertainment Tonight on Tuesday, the longtime host explained that there was no other way to describe what the 39-year-old hairstylist — who, prior to holding the reins as The Bachelorette, appeared on Juan Pablo’s season of The Bachelor, seasons 1 and 2 of Bachelor In Paradise, and Bachelor Winter Games — did.
“Clare took us on a journey the likes of which we have never seen,” he teased. “This will be a roller-coaster ride unlike any other.”
“She came into this unbelievably sincere and serious about finding love, finding a man, and it really wasn’t about the pomp and circumstance for her. It wasn’t about all the pageantry. It was about coming in and finding somebody, and I really respect the fact that this woman knows exactly what she wants and she is not afraid to go get it,” he shared.
Of course, Harrison didn’t give away any spoilers about the upcoming season, which was filmed in Palm Springs on a quarantined set, but he promised that it would be, “Turbulent. Tumultuous. Dramatic. Wild.”
“Bachelor Nation and the world are not ready for what happened inside the [bubble],” he said. “It is unlike anything we have ever seen on this show before. I know I say that sometimes, but I truly think we have outdone ourselves this time.”
“I think it definitely goes up on the Mount Rushmore of wild seasons of Bachelor and Bachelorette,” Harrison declared.
Season 16 of The Bachelorette premieres October 13 on ABC.
Annette Brown/Bravo(ATLANTA) — NeNe Leakes is not here for Andy Cohen and Wendy Williams latest comments about her — so much so, that she made a whole YouTube video about it.
On Tuesday, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star dropped a seven-minute video responding to comments that Cohen and Williams made while addressing her departure from the series during an episode of Watch What Happens Live.
Leakes first addressed her supposed friendship with Williams, who said that any spin-off show would be “boring.”
The reality star said, “I don’t have a friend who knows what I have been going through lately that would do this kind of thing to me. I don’t have that friend that is around me.”
“Yes, I have considered Wendy a close friend or associate,” Leakes admitted, before recalling that the talk show host has talked negatively about her previously on numerous occasions.
“Then, she does Andy Cohen’s show, and here she sits speaking negatively of my exit and bringing my family into the equation. That’s what you’re not going to do, Wendy,” she declared before taking a jab at Williams’ often swollen legs and ankles, due to her lymphedema.
“Wendy… spend more of your time trying to figure out how you can drain your enormously large legs and feet, okay? Opposed to worrying about my family and what we are doing. You need to find the nearest water pill, okay?” Leakes clapped back.
When it comes to Cohen, a longtime Housewives producer credited with starting the franchise, Leakes felt as though he egged on the negative talk. She also claims that she was “forced out” of RHOA and that they continue to use her name for ratings.
“And for Andy, remember, no one knew you until you knew me,” she declared.
ABC/Laretta Houston(LOS ANGELES) — Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke announced Tuesday that she has crossed a major milestone. She’s officially two years sober.
Speaking to the LadyGang podcast, the dancing star opened up about her past addiction to alcohol and why she walked away from the destructive lifestyle.
“It was just a decision that I made for myself,” Burke attested, adding that she didn’t enter the Alcoholics Anonymous program. “It was when Matt [Lawrence] and I got engaged and it was during that engagement party that… I was just like, I was done.”
The former Dance Moms coach went onto explain that she chose to give up alcohol because she didn’t want to end up like her father.
“My dad was an alcoholic,” Burke revealed, adding that he passed away. “So either I was gonna crash and burn and check myself into rehab or I was gonna just quit cold turkey.”
The professional dancer went onto reveal that her snap decision to quit alcohol is an example of her personality, adding that she sees things “either black or white.”
Burke also opened up about how her past experiences with addiction allowed her to develop a close bond with dance partner AJ McLean.
“We just bonded right away,” Burke expressed when recounting how she and McLean met via Zoom for the first time. Now, they can feely talk about their therapy and self help because of their past struggles.
While most of their deep discussions wind up being cut, Burke says she completely understands why DWTS shies away from airing such sensitive content.
“It’s not about us. It’s about the celebrity 100 percent,” she explained, adding that she is completely fine with the show keeping things bright and positive.
