Chrissy Teigen shares heartbreaking news that she suffered a miscarriage

No Comments Entertainment News

Toni Anne Barson/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — Chrissy Teigen shared the heartbreaking news that she suffered a miscarriage.

In an Instagram post shared late Wednesday evening, Teigen shared a series of black-and-white photo of herself and husband, John Legend, in the hospital and penned a lengthy caption revealing the gut-wrenching news.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” she began. “We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.”

The 34-year-old model, who announced her pregnancy in August, went on to disclose that even though she and Legend typically wait to name their children “until the last possible moment after they’re born,” they had already started to call their baby Jack while he was still in her belly.

“To our Jack – I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive,” she continued. “We will always love you.”

Teigen then took a moment to thank those who have sent “positive energy, thoughts and prayers,” adding, “We feel all of your love and truly appreciate you.”

“We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we’ve been able to experience.  But everyday can’t be full of sunshine,” the Chrissy’s Court star explained. “On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it.”

In a tweet, Legend added, “We love you, Jack.”

Miscarriage refers the loss of a pregnancy in any trimester.  According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, stillbirth is a term used to describe a loss at 20 weeks or later. The organization reported that stillbirth occurs in approximately 1 in 160 deliveries in the United States.

Teigen previously said she was about halfway through her pregnancy.

Armie Hammer calls separation from Elizabeth Chambers a "seismic event"

No Comments Entertainment News

Christopher Polk/Getty Images for The Critics’ Choice Awards (LOS ANGELES) — Armie Hammer is opening up about how the “intense situation” of quarantine played a role in he and wife Elizabeth Chambers’ separation.

In a cover story for the latest issue of British GQthe actor offers a candid interview about the emotional pain he’s experienced since he and Chambers announced this summer that their marriage was coming to an end after 10 years.

Earlier this year, the couple and their two children — daughter Harper, 5, and son Ford, 3 — quarantined with his father and his wife in the Cayman Islands, where COVID-19 protection measures were so strict that even gas stations and grocery stores shut down and the family was unable to leave the apartment.

“It was tough, man. I’d never dealt with anything like that before in my life, so I didn’t have the tools. It was just this thing that snuck up on everybody. I don’t think I handled it very well,” Hammer reflects. “I think, to be quite frank, I came very close to completely losing my mind. I just felt completely powerless.”

Being in such close quarters for an extended period of time with a combination of “big personalities,” as Hammer describes it, proved to be a breaking point for the couple, who announced their separation in July.

“I don’t think you’ll find anyone in the world who would ever say what I’m going through is an easy thing to go through,” Hammer shares. “It’s not about whether it was your idea or not, or whether you think it’s the right idea or you don’t. Either way, a separation like this is a seriously seismic event in someone’s life.”

'Riverdale,' 'Charmed' among shows halted due to lack of COVID-19 testing in Vancouver

Dean Buscher/The CW — © 2020 The CW Network, LLC. All Rights Reserved.(VANCOUVER) — A number of U.S. TV series filming in Vancouver, Canada are halting production due to a lack of access to COVID-19 tests.

According to The Hollywood ReporterRiverdale, Supergirl and Charmed are among the U.S.-based shows currently filming in Canada, due to that country’s lower number of cases of COVID-19. But a shortage of COVID-19 tests available in the city have forced these series to halt production.

Other series affected by the testing shortage are The CW’s Charmed reboot and Nancy Drew, along with DC Legends of Tomorrow.

However, studio executives have emphasized to the Reporter that the delay is not caused by staff members contracting the virus on set of these productions.

A Vancouver-based executive states that the lab they’ve been using to obtain 48-hour results has “assured” them that it’s working to meet the demands for the American productions’ sets.
