No Comments Country Music News

Matthew BerinatoKane Brown‘s daughter may have the best laugh ever.

Kane’s wife Katelyn recently shared a video on Instagram that shows how the couple has been keeping their one-year-old daughter Kingsley entertained.

Setting up shop in the playroom with toys all around, Kane playfully falls to the ground, much to his daughter’s amusement. Each time the country star drops a plush orange ball on the floor and pretends to topple over, it sends the infant into a fit of giggles so cute you can’t help but smile along with her.

“Nothing is funnier than daddy pretending to fall,” Katelyn captions the adorable clip. “One of the sweetest sounds in the world,” one fan replied, while another shares, “Love this!!! I was having a bad day and when I heard this precious laugh all I could do was smile. Thanks for sharing.”

Kane and Katelyn welcomed Kingsley in October 2019. She also makes an appearance in her dad’s music videos for “Worldwide Beautiful” and his current single “Worship You.”

Blake Shelton is still a Nick Jonas superfan in 80s-inspired 'The Voice' ad

No Comments Country Music News

NBCUniversalBlake Shelton continues to be a Nick Jonas superfan in the latest ad for The Voice

The clip opens as Blake flips through a series of polaroid photos of he and fellow judges Nick, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson from the set of The Voice. The country star is admiring several shots of him with the 28-year-old Jonas brother when he gets caught in a space time continuum that sends him back in time to the 1980s.

There, he’s joined by his fellow judges to perform a lively version of Rick Astley‘s hit “Together Forever.” Blake trades his cowboy boots for a suit and tie as he and the other three coaches try out classic 80s choreography in a neon-filled room, Blake at one point offering a high-five to a denim-clad Nick.

Blake comes back to reality though as Nick approaches him on the set saying “it’s good to be back,” the “Minimum Wage” singer unable to form words.

Nick is serving as a coach on the show for the second time after Blake’s fiancee Gwen Stefani stepped down from her coaching position last season.

The Voice season 20 premieres on March 1 on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.

Chris Lane reveals he "blacked out" when proposing to wife Lauren Bushnell

Rick Diamond/Getty Images for CMTFans saw the moment Chris Lane proposed to Lauren Bushnell in the first video for his hit single “Big, Big Plans.” Now, Chris has offered some behind-the-scenes insight into the special moment during his and Lauren’s appearance on Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East‘s podcast, Couple Things

Chris reveals that while at Lauren’s parents’ house in Portland, Oregon for Father’s Day in 2019, he explained why cameras were there by telling his future wife that he wanted to shoot photos and videos with her family.

“She had no idea what the real plan was,” he says.

He also told Lauren that he had a new song he’d written specifically for her. Chris admitted he was a bundle of nerves as he started to sing “Big, Big Plans” in the backyard — so much so that he went into the house in the middle of the performance to jot down a word on his hand so he wouldn’t forget what to say.

“When that song started playing I blacked out. I was about as nervous as I could be,” he recalled.

The singer said he was “trembling” as he approached the third verse with the lyrics “And I’m down on one knee/I guess she finally figured out/I’m gonna ask her to marry me,” sending Lauren into tears.

“Thankfully, she said yes. Honestly I don’t remember what I said in that moment because I was blacked out,” he laughs.

“That might be the one time in my life where I’ve been the most in the moment, truly not thinking about anything else,” Lauren reflects. “I was just so present that I don’t even think I really was thinking about what was happening.”

The couple wed in October 2019 and are expecting their first child, a boy, in June.
