ABC/Raymond Liu(LOS ANGELES) — It’s official, Frankie Muniz is a father!  The Malcolm in the Middle star announced Wednesday that he and wife Paige Price welcomed their first child — a little boy.

Taking to his Instagram stories to announce the good news, the 35-year-old actor shared an emotional video where he’s cradling his newborn son tight while gushing, “I’m a dad, guys!”

“I love my baby so much,” Muniz wrote. “And I love my wife more than ever!”

The couple announced they were expecting their first child in September, where they shared an adorable YouTube video celebrating their growing family.

At the time, the Big Fat Liar star professed, “In the past four and a half years, Paige and I have experienced so many incredible things together. We’ve traveled the world, got to live out all these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. While we still believe it’s the little moments in between the big ones that make you feel happiest, nothing quite compares to the first time hearing your little one’s heartbeat.”

“The second I heard that heartbeat, reality set in. I was throwing out baby names and future career choices,” added Muniz.

It was also revealed by Price that she struggled to get pregnant, adding, “We knew that we wanted this, but we were told our chances weren’t that great… The struggle of going to every doctor’s appointment made me feel less and less like a woman.”

The two celebrated that they “had beaten the odds” and were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their little one.

Neither parent has revealed their newborn’s name — but it was previously revealed in one of Price’s Instagram updates that they had been referring to their son as “our chunky monkey.”

Sean Rayford/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Comedian Dave Chappelle has a couple of shows coming up at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut, but admission will require more than the price of a ticket.

All attendees to the shows, scheduled for March 26 and 27, will be be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test at the door, regardless of whether or not they’ve been vaccinated.

If the test is positive for any attendee and their family member, they will be denied entry to the show.

The Chappelle’s Show star performed socially-distanced comedy shows in his native Ohio beginning last summer, followed by performances in Texas over the winter.  Each offered rapid tests to all audience members before being seated, however, this is the first time the tests will be mandatory.

Chappelle revealed in January that he tested positive for the virus, a day following one of those Austin dates.

ABC/Tyler Golden(LOS ANGELES) — (NOTE LANGUAGE) Chrissy Teigen, who had been hailed as the queen of Twitter, suddenly deleted her account on Wednesday.

The Cravings author, who went viral many times over for her snarky tweets and even convincing President Joe Biden to follow her at one point, explained that she felt it was the right time to leave the app for good. 

Before pulling the plug on her account, Teigen left one final message to fans, where she explained Twitter was negatively affecting her mental health.

“Hey. For over 10 years, you guys have been my world,” Teigen, 35, wrote in a four-part goodbye letter. “I honestly owe so much to this world we have created here. I truly consider so many of you my actual friends.”

The Bring the Funny host furthered, “But it’s time for me to say goodbye. This no longer serves me as positively as it serves me negatively, and I think that’s the right time to call something.”

“My life goal is to make people happy. The pain I feel when I don’t is too much for me,” Teigen expressed in a third tweet. “I’ve always been portrayed as the strong clap back girl but I’m just not.”

The former model’s final tweet to fans revealed that she didn’t like the person she was becoming because of the app.

“My desire to be liked and fear of [ticking] people off has made me somebody you didn’t sign up for, and a different human than I started out here as,” said Teigen, before signing off with, “Live well, tweeters.  Please know all I ever cared about was you!!!”

Her account has since been deleted and all links to her previous tweets direct to an error page declaring “this account doesn’t exist.”

Teigen, who is married to recording artist John Legend, is still active on Instagram.

iStock/vzphotos(LOS ANGELES) — Oscars producers’ bold move to bar winners from delivering speeches via Zoom already seems to running into some problems.

Sources tell Deadline that the rule is creating problems for nominees situated in various countries around the world who insist that staying at a hotel for two weeks or more, including the required 10 days of quarantine, would “bankrupt” their entire budget.

The restriction would force nominees working on projects to shut down production for most of April, due to the quarantining that would need to take place both leaving and returning from locations like France and the U.K., which are in various stages of lockdown.

One consultant, according to Deadline, blasted what they called the “arrogance” of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for not allowing virtual participation in this unique environment, and advised studios to get a firm answer from Oscar producers that this is a final decision, and then decide how to proceed in either bringing their nominees into L.A. — or not.

The 93rd Academy Awards air Sunday, April 25 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
