Lionsgate announced on Wednesday that Taylor will offer moviegoers an extra ticket for a guest to see his new thriller, Fatale, if they purchase a ticket now through opening weekend.

“Everybody who loves movies also loves seeing them in movie theaters, and this is a year when we could all use a gift. Ashley McBryde wraps 2020 with all-genre critical praise for 'Never Will'

No Comments Country Music News

ABC/Image Group LAAshley McBryde’s sophomore album, Never Will, made a far-reaching impact in 2020.

She’s landed the distinction of having the only country record in Rolling Stones “Best Albums of 2020” list, and the critical applause doesn’t stop there. Never Will’s lead single “One Night Standards” holds the number-three slot on the New York Times’ all-genre “Best Songs” of the year rundown, while “Hang in There Girl” shows up on NPR’s “100 Best Songs of 2020” roundup.

That’s a big deal for the singer, who knew she was taking a gamble by putting out her album during the early months of a global pandemic.

“When we released Never Will, we kept our original April 2020 release date because people needed music then and we need music now,” Ashley explains. “However, there was a small part of me that was a little sad that these songs may not get the time or attention they deserve as a body of work because of that timing.”

On the contrary, Never Will became a very successful chapter for the singer, with “One Night Standards” becoming her first-ever Top 10 radio hit. Awards shows also took note: Among other mentions, Never Will was up for Album of the Year at the 2020 CMAs, and it’s nominated for Best Country Album at the Grammys next month.

“To have the album receive so much recognition, along with nominations among such incredible company by both the CMA Awards and the Recording Academy, is truly amazing and means the absolute world to me,” Ashley adds.

James Corden reveals he started a rumor that a "devastated" Meryl Streep was fired from 'Into The Woods'

No Comments Entertainment News

Terence Patrick/CBS ©2020 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. All Rights Reserved(LOS ANGELES) — (NOTE LANGUAGE) While reminiscing about their new musical film The Prom, Late, Late Show host James Corden revealed to his co-star Meryl Streep that he once pulled a prank on her, saying she’d been fired from a movie.

The pair starred together in the 2014 musical Into the Woods, Corden explains, and Streep’s absence one day from the set led him to start a rumor that the Oscar-winner had been canned.

“Everyone was devastated,” Corden recalled.

For her part, Streep says she’d never heard that rumor before, but admitted now it made sense to her that, “they were really glad to see me the next day I was on set.”

However, Corden said he couldn’t have pulled it off without his accomplice, co-star Christine Baranski.

“As soon as I winked at Baranski, she just went into, ‘Meryl is devastated,” Corden said, imitating the Good Fight star.

“Oh, she’s an evil bit**, she really is,” Streep joked, before admitting they all had actually had a wonderful time on the musical’s set.

For the record, Streep says she’s never been fired from a job — only “from relationships.”

The Prom, an adaptation of the popular based-on-real-life Broadway show of the same name, is now on Netflix.

Gotham/GC Images(LOS ANGELES) — It looks like fans will be able to keep up with Kourtney Kardashian after all.

On Tuesday, the reality star revealed that she’ll be making an appearance in the upcoming film He’s All That, starring 20-year-old TikTok influencer Addison Rae.

In an Instagram post, Kourtney, 41, is lounging in bed with a script in her hand. “Studying @hesallthatmovie,” she wrote as the caption.

The film’s IG account shared the post to their story and added, “Introducing Jessica Miles Torres.”

He’s All That is a remake the 1999 Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachel Leigh Cook led rom-com She’s All That, with a bit of a switch-up. The original featured a male giving a girl a makeover but, according to IMDB, in the reimagined version “a teenage girl sets out to give a nebbish classmate the ultimate high school makeover.”

Kourtney and Addison seemed to have forged a close friendship over the summer, which they showcased all over social media.

Addison appeared supportive of her friend joining her in the film and commented on the Instagram post, “workkkkkkk,” along with a red heart emoji.
