Trae Patton/NBCWhen it comes to Gwen Stefani’s impending nuptials to Blake Shelton, one thing’s for certain: her children will be by her side.

A source close to the couple tells People Gwen’s sons Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 6, “will have a large part” in the wedding.

“Gwen’s sons are just really solid, sweet kids, and they’re so excited for Blake and Gwen to get married,” the friend says of the children Gwen shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. “They can’t wait to stand by their sides.”

Gwen and Blake announced their engagement in October after dating for about five years. They met on the set of The Voice, where they were both serving as coaches.

“From the beginning, Gwen made it clear to Blake that her boys were No. 1 in her life, and Blake always respected this,” another source close to Gwen tells People

“Gwen always gushed about how amazing Blake is with the boys,” the source adds. “She feels so lucky that he helps her raise them. His love and guidance is something that Gwen is beyond grateful for.”

The two are rumored to be marrying in early 2021 at a chapel Blake built himself on the grounds of his Oklahoma ranch.

Brad Paisley says nonprofit The Store makes him "feel less helpless"

No Comments Country Music News

Andrew Chin/Getty ImagesBrad Paisley is opening up about the impact of The Store in the ABC News special, The Year: 2020

In March, just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Brad and his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley opened a free grocery store in Nashville to help families experiencing food insecurity. At the time, Brad’s World Tour had just been shut down due to the pandemic, leaving him fearful of the unknown.

“I found myself really scared in the beginning of this. It really hit me that a lot of people were probably going to die,” he confides to host Robin Roberts. “The sadness of that hit me pretty hard.”

But the tragedy inspired the singer and his wife to open The Store as a way to support families in need. In September, the couple participated in the Million Meals Donation Tour in collaboration with Feeding America to donate meals to local food banks across the country.

Brad says the initiative restored his sense of hope and purpose.

“When we’re delivering food or doing something that’s helping, I feel less helpless,” he says. “For me, it was all about trying to find something that really felt like we were going to get through this.”

Hear more from Brad when The Year airs tonight on ABC at 9 p.m. ET.

'Tiger King' star Carole Baskin says she's in talks for her own TV show, memoir

Netflix(FLORIDA) — In an end-of-year email to her fans, controversial Tiger King star and former Dancing with the Stars contestant Carole Baskin says she’s still grinding away.

The 59-year-old says she’s “in negotiations for a TV show series on the work we do to end big cat abuse and to write my memoirs,” and has been making bank by sending messages to fans via the video messaging service Cameo.

“I’m one of Cameo’s most prolific earners,” she gushes, “having created more than 2,300 greetings with 400+ fabulous reviews.”

According to Baskin’s Cameo profile, a personalized message from the reality show star costs $299.

She also said she’s been at work on her cellphone game, and on licensing deals for a bobblehead and Halloween masks bearing her likeness, Page Six reports.

By contrast, Baskin points out in her “Where are the ‘Tiger King’ stars now?” section of her email that her former nemeses Joe Exotic and Doc Antle are doing considerably less well. Both men are behind bars for plotting to have her killed and for wildlife trafficking, respectively.

The eccentric Exotic has accused Baskin of killing her wealthy ex-husband, Don Lewis, and having his corpse shredded in a meat grinder and then fed to her big cats. Baskin denied the accusations. Officially, she reported her husband missing in 1997, and petitioned a judge to have him declared dead five years later.

Vaccinations begin at Massachusetts long-term care facility, a COVID hot spot

Staff and residents of Holyoke Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke, Massachusetts, will begin receiving COVID-19 vaccinations Tuesday.

The long-term care facility had one of the country’s worst coronavirus outbreaks.

On Tuesday, CVS pharmacists with inject patients with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

In the spring, 76 veterans who lived at the home died of the virus, and a resident who had been living in an off-site nursing facility since April died earlier this month.

Two former top administrators pleaded not guilty to criminal negligence charges connected to the residents’ deaths, WCVB reported.

U.S. states have begun vaccinating patients at long-term care facilities in an effort to keep the most vulnerable Americans safe from the virus.

The government’s goal is to have 20 million Americans vaccinated by the end of the year.

COVID vaccines given to general public in Kentucky a ‘mistake,’ governor says

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear spoke out Monday after Walgreens stores in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky, gave COVID-19 vaccines to members of the general public.

Beshear said at a press conference that last week, the pharmacies were left with extra doses of the vaccine after administering it to long-term care facilities, so, they offered the leftover doses to average citizens. This, the governor said, does not follow government protocol, as the vaccine is not yet being given to the general public.

“I don’t think that this was intentional, and we have to understand that in an undertaking this massive that mistakes are going to happen,” Beshear said. “I believe that here a mistake happened in the thawing, but the reaction wasn’t what it should’ve been.”

In a statement, Walgreens said that per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidance, Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine can be at refrigerated temperatures for only five days, so, to avoid wasting doses of the valuable vaccine after giving it to at-risk adults in long-term care facilities, they used the leftover doses they had on residents.

The doses were offered to local first responders, Walgreens pharmacy and store team members and residents of the community, many of whom were over age 65, Walgreens said.

“These measures were taken to ensure every dose of a limited vaccine supply was used to protect patients and communities,” the company added. “We will utilize excess vaccine inventory in priority patient populations and continue to work closely with state and federal health agencies in our efforts to vaccinate residents in long-term care facilities and ensure requested doses meet their needs.”
