Kelsea Ballerini's word of the year is "healthy"

No Comments Country Music News

ABCKelsea Ballerini is welcoming 2021 with a “healthy” mindset.

“My word of 2021 is ‘healthy’,” tweeted the singer. “I want to nurture and focus on my physical, mental, and emotional health that all took a bit of a backseat last year (anyone else?).”  She shares the sentiment alongside a photo of herself staring off into a blue sky.

The “Peter Pan” singer elaborates that going into the year with a defining word is motivational, and keeps life in perspective.

“Having a word for the year helps me stay focused and keeps my intentions set while I try to live a full life, stay creative, and be productive,” she says.

Kelsea’s single “Hole in the Bottle” is climbing the country charts and currently sits in the top 10 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

After premature report of her death, former Bond girl and 'Charlie's Angels' actress Tanya Roberts has now passed away

No Comments Entertainment News

Paul Archuleta/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) — After an erroneous report from her rep claiming that she’d on Sunday — and a subsequent correction from Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles that she was still alive — The New York Times has now confirmed that actress Tanya Roberts died Monday night.

The news of her death was confirmed by Roberts’ longtime companion, Lance O’Brien. The former model and actress, born Victoria Leigh Blum, was 65.

Roberts, who starred as Stacey Sutton alongside Roger Moore in the 1985 James Bond film A View To A Kill, and also appeared in Charlie’s Angels and That ’70s Show, reportedly collapsed while out walking her dogs on December 24 and was admitted to Cedars-Sinai.

O’Brien is the one who informed Roberts’ rep Mike Pingel that she had “died in his arms” on Sunday night.  Pingel subsequently sent out a press release about her passing, only to have to walk back the information on Monday.  Pingel said Roberts was in fact still alive, but in grave condition.

O’Brien told the New York Post that at the time, he truly believed Roberts had died, because he’d said goodbye to her and left her bedside without speaking to any medical staff. Then, on Monday, he got a call from the hospital saying she was still alive.

“I don’t want to blame [Pingel] in any way, shape or form,” O’Brien said. “I was in total shock, and I did say goodbye to her.’’

O’Brien also told the Post that Roberts died because she had an infection that “got out of control,” which was exacerbated by the fact that she’d had hepatitis C when she was younger.

“What happened was her kidneys degraded, her liver degraded, then her gall bladder degraded, then she got a blood infection in her entire body,” he explained.

In addition to being nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Album for “More Hearts Than Mine” and Lady Like, respectively, Ingrid is also up for the coveted all-genre Best New Artist.

Arnold Schwarzenegger confuses son-in-law Chris Pratt with Chris Evans

No Comments Entertainment News

Albert L. Ortega/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — It seems even Arnold Schwarzenegger has trouble telling some of the “famous Chrises” apart — which is odd because one of them, Chris Pratt, is his son-in-law.

For the record, Chris Pratt, Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth are all members of The Avengers onscreen.  Fellow heartthrob Chris Pine, the star of the Star Trek and Wonder Woman movies, is also part of the famous Chris quartet.

During a star-studded New Year’s Instagram telethon in which he ultimately raised over $615,000 to feed the hungry, Pratt introduced a series of stars via split-screen video, including his father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the father of Katherine, Pratt’s wife.

“Hello Chris Evans!” Arnold fumbles, to Pratt’s apparent surprise.

“Oh, not Chris Evans. Sorry. I screwed up this whole thing right from the beginning,” Arnold laughed nervously. “I didn’t hold up the cue cards the right way,” Schwarzenegger then explains, holding up an index card reading “Chris Pratt.” Wearing a traditional green felt Austrian hat, Arnold said, “I should know you’re name, that’s for sure. You’re my favorite son-in-law.”

“I’m your only son-in-law, I better be your favorite!” a laughing Pratt protested.

Arnold went on to say he “thinks the world” of Pratt, saying he’s “such a giving person [who thinks] not only about yourself and your career, but about other people.”

Chris and Katherine welcomed their first child together, daughter Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt, in August.

Other stars who virtually joined Pratt during the event included Oscar winners Jamie Foxx and Laura Dern, as well as Pratt’s other Jurassic World co-star, actress Bryce Dallas Howard.

Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard are "Undivided" in uplifting song

No Comments Country Music News

Big Machine Label Group Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard pledge unity and faith in their upcoming song, “Undivided.”

Over the past few days, Tim has been teasing on Instagram that he and the Florida Georgia Linemember have a collaboration in the works, with their new song, “Undivided,” set for release on January 13.

Described in a statement as an “upbeat and heartfelt collaboration,” the track was born out of Tyler’s experience quarantining on his tour bus after testing positive for COVID-19, leading to two weeks of isolation and reflection.

Co-written by Tyler and Chris Loocke, “Undivided’s” lyrics cut through divisiveness to call for unity, professing that the power to bring about change lies in our hands.

“I think it’s time to come together/You and I can make a change/Maybe we can make a difference/Make the world a better place,” the pair sing.

“I loved the positivity of this song and that it called me to check myself and to remember that love is bigger. It’s why I knew this song had to be my next single with Tyler as soon as he sent it to me,” Tim says.

“I knew immediately when I finished it, I had to text it to Tim. He has a way of communicating with the world that is unique in music,” Tyler adds. “For him to want to perform with me was an amazing feeling. The song is about coming together, and that’s exactly what we did.”

“Undivided” will be featured on the deluxe edition of Tim’s Here on Earth album, scheduled for release in the spring.
