Tom Holland admits he still doesn't know what's going on in the new 'Spider-Man' movie

Holland as Spider-Man/Peter Parker in “Avengers: Infinity War”/Marvel Studios(NEW YORK) — (NOTE LANGUAGE) Tom Holland may be the star of the upcoming Spider-Man film, but that doesn’t mean he knows what the movie is about.

Speaking with Esquire, the 24-year-old actor spilled that it’s normal for him not to know exactly what’s going on and that the team even goes a step beyond to mislead him with decoy information.

“I honestly have no idea what this film is about and I’m eight weeks into shooting it,” he said, only slightly kidding.

“They do it all the time,” he shared, reflecting on his past gaffes where he accidentally leaked some pretty big spoilers. “In [Endgame], Robert Downey Jr.’s funeral scene, for the longest time I was under the impression that it was a wedding. I’m 100 percent sure that they’re still tricking me.”

In Holland’s defense regarding Endgame, directors Joe and Anthony Russo told ABC Audio that to retain the secrecy of the star-studded scene, all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe performers who were called to appear in it were told they were to “dress for a wedding.”

Although Holland’s hands are somewhat tied when it comes to the upcoming Spider-Man installment, with a bit of confidence, he did address the whispers that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would be making an appearance in the Sony Pictures/Marvel Studios co-production.

“No, no, they will not be appearing in this film,” he said firmly. “Unless they have hidden the most massive piece of information from me, which I think is too big of a secret for them to keep from me. But as of yet, no. It’ll be a continuation of the Spider-Man movies that we’ve been making.”

Holland also dished that his character, Peter Parker, may have a slightly less nerdy look due to his refusal to wear a wig.

“For the first time in my life, I put my foot down as the leading actor and was like, ‘I’m not f***ing wearing that wig,” he recalled. “I’m going to have shorter hair and you’re going to have to deal with it.'”

Marvel Studios is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.

No Comments Country Music News

Columbia NashvilleJameson Rodgers and Luke Combs are ready to be off the clock in the video for “Cold Beer Calling My Name.”

The singers star as truck delivery drivers for a beer company, the clip opening with Jameson receiving a stern warning from his boss that he’s on the chopping block if he misses another delivery.

Jameson then takes to the open road, picking up Luke along the way.  The two sing the track from inside the truck as they roll along the highway, and in the back of a liquor store surrounded by a variety of brews.

Their day ends on a positive note as they party with friends Drew Parker and Dan and Reid Isbell around a bonfire, supplying beers for all.

“We had a blast shooting this thing. Hope y’all dig it,” Jameson shares on Twitter

“Cold Beer Calling My Name” is the follow-up single to Jameson’s #1 debut, “Some Girls.” The video arrives weeks after Luke scored his 10th consecutive #1 hit with “Better Together.”

Tyler Cameron teases 'Bachelor' finale: "Matt's extremely happy"

No Comments Entertainment News

ABC/Raymond Liu(LOS ANGELES) — Bachelor star Matt James narrowed down his list of potential suitors down to 10 on Monday — or did he?  One thing is for certain, though, the woman who goes on to win his heart is definitely a keeper.

That spoiler comes courtesy of Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron, who is one of Matt’s close friends.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Tyler confirmed Matt is currently enjoying his happy ending.

“Matt’s extremely happy,” he teased, but declined to name which lady wins Matt’s heart. “He seems like he’s in a great place and that’s all that matters.”

Tyler called upon Matt’s confession at the start of the season and dished to ET that, before his buddy stood before the camera to hand out roses, that Matt kissed “like two girls in the ten years I’ve known him.”

Tyler says The Bachelor has changed all that — and for the right reasons.

The Bachelor pushes yourself more than you normally would push yourself in a relationship,” the 28-year-old model described. “I think you skip a lot of the BS steps in dating and get right to it. So I think as long as you’re willing to put yourself out there and be vulnerable and give it a shot, I think that it’s a possibility for sure.”

“Matt is a very self-motivated, hungry person and I think his whole, this last 10 years knowing him, he’s been trying to put himself in a better position,” he continued, noting that Matt feels he’s in a place professionally and financially that he can comfortably settle down and start a family.

But, as for who Matt rides off into the sunset with, Tyler says you just have to wait and see.

The Bachelor returns Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Elton John, Michael Caine comically encourage fellow Brits to get their COVID vaccine

No Comments Entertainment News

ABC/Craig Sjodin(LONDON) — Elton John joined film legend Michael Caine for a comedic video aimed at urging people in Britain to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

“The more people in society who get vaccinated, the more chance there is of eradicating the national COVID pandemic,” the 73-year-old singer says in the clip, adding, “It’s really important to know that the vaccines have all been through and met the necessary safety and quality standards.”

A voice off-camera then directs Elton to pretend he’s getting the vaccine, before bursting into his 1983 hit, “I’m Still Standing.”

The off-camera voice, seemingly unimpressed with Elton’s acting skills, tells him, “We’ll let you know,” to which the artist angrily replies, “Well, on this short notice, you won’t find anyone bigger.”

The scene then switches to Caine, who assures people that he just received the vaccine, and “it didn’t hurt.”

After praising the 87-year-old actor’s performance, the voice off-camera, referring to Elton, tells an assistant to “let the little fella know he didn’t get the job.”

“I wanted to take part in this film to help show people the benefits of getting vaccinated and how it helps protect ourselves and the people we love,” Elton says in a statement obtained by The Guardian.

“The more people in society who get vaccinated, the more chance there is of eradicating the national Covid pandemic,” he continues. “It’s really important to know that the vaccines have all been through and met the necessary safety and quality standards.”

John and Caine, incidentally both veterans of the Kingsman series of films, have had the vaccine, according to the publication.
