No Comments Country Music News

Amazon MusicFlorida Georgia Line are postponing their global album release livestream event until Thursday, February 25. The change is due to the ice and snow storms affecting Nashville, as well as much of the rest of the country, this week.

“Due to inclement weather in Nashville, we are moving our Amazon Music Global Livestream to Thursday, Feb. 25,” the band explained in a statement. “The party starts at 7PM CT via the Amazon Music Twitch channel and within the Amazon Music mobile app. Keep on listening to Life Rolls On and we look forward to performing for y’all next week!”

As previously announced, the event will take place in FGL’s namesake bar in downtown Nashville. Duo members Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley will be accompanied by a full band as they perform songs off their just-released new album, Life Rolls On.

Included on that project are hits “I Love My Country” and “Long Live.” Before the show, CMT host Cody Alan will host a Q&A with the band.

That interview, along with the show itself, will stream on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel.

Paramount Pictures/NewsmakersThe upcoming Sex and the City revival, And Just Like That…, will be missing another major character.

Page Six has confirmed that the character of Mr. Big will not appear in the SATC reboot that’s in the works at HBO Max. Played by actor Chris Noth, Mr. Big was the longtime love interest of Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw throughout the original series’ six seasons.

In addition to SJP returning as Carrie, the 10-episode series And Just Like That… will see Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis returning to their roles as Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York, respectively. However, Kim Cattrall will not reprise her role of Samantha Jones.

Jordan Davis contemplates the roads — and the facial hair styles — not taken in “Almost Maybes” video

No Comments Country Music News

ABC/Image Group LAJordan Davis looks back at the relationships in his life that didn’t quite work out in the music video for his current single, “Almost Maybes.”

In a personal twist, some of the scenes in the clip are recreated from the singer’s own memories: One background recalls his old college dorm room, and another scene takes place in one of his favorite Baton Rouge bars, called Bogie’s.

Starring opposite Jordan in the video is television personality and The Bachelor star Hannah Brown, and Jordan reveals that it was actually his fan base who made the decision to cast her in the clip.

It all started when Hannah told her fans on an Instagram Q&A that she would love to be part of a music video one day.

“Within hours I was getting messages saying I should have Hannah in the video,” says Jordan, who DM’d her on social media to set it up.

“Hannah was very involved in the plotline of the video, which was really fun, hearing about her past relationships and marrying those stories with mine,” the singer goes on to say. “I’m really happy with how the video turned out.”

Jordan also took the opportunity to debut a brand-new look in the “Almost Maybes” video: The first scene of the clip features him without his signature long beard, but rather a much shorter layer of scruff.

Bindi Irwin reveals how her father inspired her unborn child's special nickname

No Comments Entertainment News

John Wolfsohn/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are still narrowing down what to name their baby girl, who is due very soon — but the child does have a special nickname that honors Bindi’s late father, Steve Irwin.

In a recent interview with The Bump, Bindi revealed that her soon-to-be bundle of joy has been dubbed “Wildlife Warrior.”

“My dad was the first person to create the term ‘Wildlife Warrior,'” explained Bindi. “Being a Wildlife Warrior means to stand up and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. We’ve been referring to our daughter as our Baby Wildlife Warrior.”

Continues the 22-year-old television personality, “I know in my heart that she will forge her own path to make our planet a better place.”

As for what she and Powell plan to name their little one, Bindi confessed, “We are waiting to meet her before we decide on a name.”

“We want to hold her and make sure the name that we choose fits her perfectly. We have been looking through family history on both my side and Chandler’s side for family name inspiration,” she added. “Once she arrives I think we’ll know exactly what to name her.”

Bindi revealed that thinking of baby names isn’t the only activity her family has been doing — her mother, Terri Irwin, spent some time deciding if she wanted to be called “grandma” or something else entirely.

“We spent a long time searching for grandma names that also had an animal link. We decided that she’s going to be called ‘Bunny,'” she said, saying the name not only honors the animal but a neighbor Terri knew while growing up in Oregon.

As for Bindi’s brother, Robert, he’s “calling himself the ‘funcle’ which means fun uncle. I love it!”

No Comments Country Music News

RCA Records NashvilleNiko Moon keeps the positive vibes rolling with his just-released “No Sad Songs,” which follows his upbeat Top 10 single, “Good Time.”

Once again, Niko finds creative inspiration in light-hearted optimism. In “No Sad Songs,” he sets out to wash down the tough week behind him with some uptempo, feel-good party music.

“I don’t wanna hear no sad songs, I just wanna have some fun tonight / Dancin’ all the way ‘til last call, drink in my hand got me feelin’ right,” Niko sings in the groove-heavy chorus of his new tune. “It’s been a long week, a gone wrong week / So keep that good time spinnin’ on repeat…”

The song arrives at a time when Niko’s got plenty to celebrate: “Good Time” recently clinched RIAA platinum certification, and the singer’s team surprised him with the official plaque during a masked, outdoors celebration.

In addition to Niko’s rising career as an artist, he’s also an in-demand songwriter who has penned hits for the Zac Brown Band and others.
