HBO Max goof offers early glimpse of 'Zack Snyder's Justice League'

No Comments Entertainment News

HBO Max/Warner Bros. Pictures(LOS ANGELES) — Although the so-called Snyder Cut of Justice League doesn’t debut on HBO Max until March 18, some HBO Max users who clicked on the new Tom and Jerry live-action film Monday got a chance to see some of anticipated superhero film.

However, Warner Bros. and HBO Max were on the case quickly, the studio tells The Verge. “Zack Snyder’s Justice League was temporarily available on HBO Max and the error was addressed within minutes,” noted a rep.

The website says that if Tom and Jerry fans timed it just right, they could have seen just about an hour of the newly-revamped Justice League, which clocks in at four hours and two minutes long.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the director’s original vision for the film, complete with a new soundtrack, enhanced special effects — and minus the contentious and fan-flamed additions director Joss Whedon added when he replaced Sndyer following the latter’s exit due to a family tragedy.

Rumors that Snyder’s version of the film still existed after the lackluster performance of Whedon’s in 2017 led to a viral fan campaign for Warner Bros. to release it. The studio eventually invested a reported $40 million to allow Snyder to make his original vision a reality.

Gwyneth Paltrow claims she gained 14 pounds while in quarantine: "My gut was a mess"

No Comments Entertainment News

ABC(LOS ANGELES) — Gwyneth Paltrow admits even she fell prey to the so-called “COVID-15,” where people experienced some weight gain when the pandemic put their life on pause.

Paltrow, 48, spoke about her weight gain over the weekend during her In Goop Health – The At-Home Summit.

“I was absolutely no holds barred,” the Oscar winner confessed, via Yahoo! “I gained 14 pounds and my gut was a mess. But I just didn’t want to do anything about it.”

Paltrow said she continued indulging her vices of “my wine and my pasta and biscuits and crackers and cheese” because they “got me through” the doldrums of quarantine.  However, she admits she started to feel “pretty terrible” and consulted a Pennsylvania-based natural health doctor, Dr. Will Cole.

The Iron Man star said a blood test revealed inflammation in her body and she was put on a bone broth diet. Paltrow claims she has since lost 11 of the 14 pounds she gained by adjusting her diet and allowing intermittent fasting.

The actress admits the diet was a struggle and she found herself wondering, “When can I have a cocktail again?”

However, she says she stuck to her program, adding, “You know me, I don’t cheat, I don’t break, I’m so disciplined and I was like, I can’t do this. Then I started to feel so good after about 60 days in.”

“And now I’m starting to feel so good that I’m like, yeah, like, I would drink if I could, maybe, but not seven days a week anymore,” added Paltrow. “I don’t want to go back to that.”

Bam Margera hospitalized with staph infection from new tattoo

No Comments Entertainment News

Albert L. Ortega/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — (NOTE CONTENT, LANGUAGE) Jackass star Bam Margera has been hospitalized not because of a stunt gone wrong — but because of a tattoo gone wrong.

The 41-year-old reality star shared a gnarly look at his infected tattoo on Monday as a warning to his followers to do their research when they get new ink.

“I love how I did not take care of my tattoo, now I have to deal with the pain of a staff [sic] infection,” explained Margera in the caption.

He went onto reveal that the inflamed ink on his leg meant, “In Farsi it says “great news” aka Navid.”

“But I let my great news get infected,” Margera lamented before owning up to his mistake and that he “deserves it.”

It is unknown how the tattoo became so red and inflamed, but Mayo Clinic cautions that the the tattooed skin needs to be kept clean in order to ward off potential skin infections — as the needles break the skin.

Those with new ink are also strongly encouraged to frequently apply moisturizer, avoid swimming and sun exposure, wear clothing that is loose around the tattoo and allow up to two weeks for healing. TMZ reported Bam was in a hot tub too soon after getting the ink.
